Iconic Art Rock Goth band that emerged from Northampton, England, in the post punk period. Always highly stylised and with an individual mix of musical genres and influences Bauhaus have always retained their mystique and kudos despite breaking up in 1983. The original line up of Daniel Ash (guitar, saxophone), Peter Murphy (vocals, occasional instruments), Kevin Haskins (drums) and David J (bass). splintered and formed other bands - Tones on Tail, and Love and Rockets. Bauhaus have reunited for tours several times and are set to play at cool in every way London venue Alexandra Palace on 8th of April 2020 - their only scheduled UK show as of time of writing
