Caribou is the current performance name of Canadian composer, musician, and recording artist Daniel Victor Snaith . Snaith began recording in 2001 (2005 as Caribou) and, to date, has relaesed nine studio albums. When performing live he generally assembles a live touring band in which he plays percussion; at time of writing the line up was ....... Snaith, Ryan Smith, Brad Weber, and John Schmersal. Live shows also feature complex video projections. Snaith received a doctorate in mathematics from Imperial College London, in 2005, for work on Overconvergent Siegel Modular Symbols.
