Formed in San Francisco, California, in 1979, Faith No More have since seen several line up changes. Currently the band consists of original members Bassist Billy Gould, keyboardist/rhythm guitarist Roddy Bottum and drummer Mike Bordin, alongside lead guitarist Jon Hudson, and vocalist/lyricist Mike Patton. With a musical style variously referred to as alternative metal, experimental rock, and funk metal, and more recently post punk, the band released six albums before announcing a break up in 1998 ...... We Care a Lot (1985). Introduce Yourself (1987).The Real Thing (1989). Angel Dust (1992). King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime (1995). Album of the Year (1997). Since reforming Faith No more have released a seventh album, 2015's Sol Invictus. The band are set to tour Europe, including the UK, in 2020
