Considered a key band in the early 1990's grunge movement Pearl Jam sprung from the remnants of cult Seattle band Mother Love Bone. The current band line up (2020) consists of comprises founding members Eddie Vedder (lead vocals, guitar), Mike McCready (lead guitar), Stone Gossard (rhythm guitar) and Jeff Ament (bass), plus drummer Matt Cameron, and Keyboardist Boom Gaspar (a touring member since the early 2000's. Since the release of their debut album "Ten" in 1991 Pearl Jam have sold 85 million albums worldwide - they have released ten studio albums to date. With a sound that could be said to combine a grunge sensitivity with classic rock styles Pearl Jam have outlasted many of their early contemporaries, and have also been successful in gaining new audiences.
