Oxford band The Foals formed in 2005 and have built a strong following through their extensive world touring schedule. The current line up is composed of lead vocalist/lead guitarist Yannis Philippakis, rhythm guitarist Jimmy Smith, drummer and percussionist Jack Bevan, and keyboardist Edwin Congreave. To date they have released six studio albums, with albums five and six being a two part collection entitled "Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost" – Part 1 was released March 2019, and part 2 was released October 2019. Their music is often described as a mixture of indie, alternative, art rock, with elements of dance punk? Its made them one of the UK's top live acts, with the awards to prove it.
