Dublin based band which formed in 2015 and signed with Human Season Records in 2018. They released their first singles in 2019 and their debut album "When I have Fears" was released in August 2019. Classified as post punk The Murder Capital are an interesting mix of influences. Whilst drawing comparison to contemporaries such as Idles, Slaves, and, of course, fellow Irish band Fontaines DC, the band also have, perhaps, elements of Joy Division, Pixies, and a slew of angry, bass heavy, motorik punk, predecessors.
