Held annually between March and November the Formula 1 season is perhaps one of the most intense sporting competitions there is. 21 races held on varied circuits in 21 countries, the competition is known for glamour, thrills, precision driving - on which a drivers life depends, and the best cars and drivers in the world. 40 drivers split into 20 teams. Each race is 305 kilometres. The cars cost approx 15.52 million dollars each and have reached recorded speeds up to 231 mph.
