Poppy

The Cathouse is long-established alternative music nightclub on Union Street in Glasgow. As well as regular weekly club nights, including the under 18 'Voodoo', it also hosts live gigs, with globally successful, mainstream bands such as Oasis, Pearl Jam and Fall Out Boy having played there in their fledgling years. The club has also been host to such acts as Dragonforce, Lordi, Zebrahead, SOiL and Mr Bungle. The club began in 1990 in the Hollywood Studios building (now demolished) in Brown St and moved to Union St in 1995, and forms part of Cathouse Promotions Limited (CPL) who also own or lease a number of other Glasgow clubs and bars: The Garage (nightclub) The Tunnel The Union St property was leased until 2005, but has now been purchased by CPL, and was thoroughly refurbished with a relaunch party at the end of October 2005, and the Cathouse celebrated its 18th birthday in November 2008, with a weekend of drink promotions and other features such as bands and pole-dancers.

   Moriah Rose Pereira (born January 1, 1995),  known professionally as Poppy, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, fashion model, YouTuber, and religious leader. In 2013, she moved to Los Angeles where she rose to prominence while working with director and musician Titanic Sinclair who helped her enhance her YouTube presence by making short performance art videos and music videos. In 2015, she was signed with Island Records, and in 2016, she released her debut extended play, Bubblebath, as That Poppy.
In late 2016, Poppy became the face of Sanrio's "Hello Sanrio" collection. In the summer of 2017, she signed to Mad Decent, and in October released her first studio album, Poppy.Computer. To promote the album she embarked on her first tour, which consisted of 34 North American cities separated by shows in London and Tokyo
  In 2018, Poppy released her web television series, I'm Poppy, and released her second studio album, Am I a Girl?.
   On September 30, 2019, Poppy announced that her third studio album entitled I Disagree would be released on January 10, 2020 through Sumerian Records. The title track will be released as the second single from the album (following "Concrete" in August) on October 4 alongside the album pre-order.

On October 4, Poppy released the video for the title track from her new album I Disagree, a metal-pop infused anthem.
