The Manchester Arena is an indoor arena in Manchester, England, immediately north of the city centre and partly above Manchester Victoria station in air rights space. The arena has the highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom, and second largest in the European Union with a capacity of 21,000 and is one of the world's busiest indoor arenas, hosting music and sporting events such as boxing and swimming.[4] The arena was a key part of Manchester's bids to host the Olympic Games in 1996 and 2000 and was eventually used for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The arena was temporarily closed following a terrorist attack by a suicide bomber on 22 May 2017, in which a suicide bomber killed 22 people and injured 500 more at the end of an Ariana Grande concert during her Dangerous Woman Tour. Shows that were scheduled to be at the arena were either moved to alternative venues, or cancelled completely. The arena reopened on 9 September for a special benefit concert headlined by Manchester-born singer Noel Gallagher.

    Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell ( born December 18, 2001) is an American singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, she began singing at a young age. She gained a following in 2016 when she released her single "Ocean Eyes" on audio distribution platform SoundCloud, subsequently released on the record labels Darkroom and Interscope Records.

Her debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, and spawned the single "Bellyache". Eilish also collaborated with American singer Khalid for the single "Lovely", which was released in April 2018 and added to the soundtrack for the second season of 13 Reasons Why. Her debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019) debuted atop the Billboard 200 and reached number one in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. The album contained five US Billboard Hot 100 top 40 singles: "When the Party's Over", "Bury a Friend", "Wish You Were Gay", and "Bad Guy", the latter of which became her first number-one single in the United States. She is the first and, to date, only artist born in the 2000s to record a #1 single in the United States.

Eilish has eight gold and four platinum singles in the United States.Eilish and her musician brother Finneas frequently collaborate on her music.

In an interview published by The Guardian in March 2019, Eilish stated she has never used drugs or smoked. Eilish stated that she has Tourette syndrome, synesthesia, and has experienced depression. She was raised vegetarian and regularly advocates for veganism on social media.

Billie Eilish has confirmed she will bring her When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? tour to the UK in July 2020.
